FAQs
What time of day do you prefer to shoot?
My favorite time to shoot is GOLDEN HOUR! This puts you in the day’s best light and makes you and your photos visually stunning. In the winter, this ranges from 3-5pm, and in the summer it ranges from 6-8pm.
How many images will we receive?
I have a "free photos" mentality. What this means is that the cost of your session is covering my time, my talent, and my editing time. Your photos are free. This means that there isn't an exact set number for how many images you'll receive. The best images will be included in your gallery.
But for a frame of reference, an 8 hour wedding will typically receive 400-600 photos.
Do you give out raw photos?
Short answer…no I do not. I choose the best of the session and edit them in my style and deliver those to you. You end up with the best of the best!
How can we access our photos after you edit them?
I create a private online gallery to house all of your edited images. Through the gallery you can easily download all of your photos in high resolution, and also have the option to create your own albums, prints, and even greeting cards. These get sent off to the best of the best printing labs and delivered right to you! It’s super easy and secure.
When can we see our photos?
I know you can’t wait to post, share, and re-live all the moments of your wedding day, and I can’t wait to show them to you! That’s why I guarantee a set of sneak peek photos within 48 hours. After that, I will have the entire edited gallery sent to you within 6 weeks. For engagement and portrait shoots you will receive the full gallery within 14 days.
We don’t live in Northern Illinois / Southern Wisconsin, do you travel?
Absolutely! I’m always down for an adventure! If you’re planning something somewhere else and want me to join just reach out. And if you want to go to Montana, Canada, or Iceland I’m already at the airport…see you there!
